TEEN DRIVERS EDUCATION: Tuition Teen Drivers Education Program $325.00 Plus Tax
Driver Education Requirements: Teenagers under the age of 18 years old, and above 15 1/2 years old are required to complete Thirty (30) hours of Classroom Driver Education. Student also need to complete Six (6) hours of Behind- the- Wheel Session by a Certified Driver Instructor. Secondly, the State of Hawaii requires each teenager to have Fifty (50) hours of actual driving supervised by a license driver, however; ten (10) hours must be night driving. In addition, a notarized letter from the parents stating that the above required hours of driving was met. Upon successfully completing above requirements you will receive from our certified instructors a State of Hawaii approved sealed certificate, which will enable you to take the driver test.
Driving Course Description: Teen Driver Education This course will teaches the novice drivers responsibilities and learning the S.E.E. Process, as well as vehicle control on public highways. We also cover Reducing Risk Strategies in a multi-lane expressway. The novice driver learns Basic Maneuvers task and space management. Personal Factors influencing operator performance is another area that we cover. We use the Drive Right Text Book with the State of Hawaii Department of transportation approved curriculum put by ADTSEA. This class consists of attendance, homework, group participation and discussion, project assignments, test and quizzes, and various videos approved by DOT (department of Transportation). Our class consists of 32 hours of classroom. We also do 6 (six) lessons of Behind-the-Wheel.
ADULT DRIVER INSTRUCTION LESSONS: These (6) lessons are done behind the wheel with a license and certified driver education instructor. We also offer practice sessions. Vehicle Rental available for DMV Tests. Evaluation is required upon testing day.
COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE PROGRAM: Admission Requirements The requirements for admission into the (C.D.L) program are as follow: A) Must be 21 years of age B) Hold an current Type 3 Hawaii Driver’s License C) Acceptable driving record
